Balestrand/Norway Elegantly located between mountain, glaciers and fjord, Balestrand is on the most vast portion of the Sognefjord. The Sognefjord makes a sharp turn from north to east at Balestrand’s front door, gifting the town with panoramic views and long days of sunlight. Get a unique paddlers perspective during Moreld's "Half Day Tours !" .

The light cast on the landscape inspired countless painters during Norway’s National Romantic period. Balestrand is the entrance gate to another hidden perl of the Sognefjord which can be explored on the 2-Day "Fjærlandsfjord !" Overnight Tour .
