Idyllically nestled between the foot of the mountains and the sea is our little farm and adventure center with "Moreld Basecamp" overnighting possibilities. Just 8km northeast of Urnes. Kroken is the most remote of our centers, only 20km from the most inland point on the Sognefjord. Literally off the front step and out the back door are sea and mountains. Our Active Vacations "Fjordlands" (5 Days) and "Fjord & Mountains" (4 Days) , the full day tours  "Urnes Stave Church" and "Feigum Falls" depart from Kroken. During the summer you can also join us on "Half Day Tours" .

By Car:
Navigating your way through the landscape of western Norway in a car is an adventure in itself. To your advantage, all roads are well maintained and traffic laws are relatively simple. To find Kroken on a map, first find the town of Skjolden at the north-eastern-most tip of the Sognefjord. This branch of the fjord is called the Lusterfjord. Trace the eastern shore of the Lusterfjord approximately 20 km (or a couple of inches on your map) to the southeast. This should put you at Kroken. There is also a ferry connecting the town of Solvorn to the town of Urnes that runs regularly throughout the summer season if you choose to drive from that direction.
